Looks like he's about to get smacked round the head with a baseball bat by a 'carer'.

Sad

Aside from this (alleged) sick violence, notice how crowded the floorspace appears.

I have no problem with lamb either. Can't be intensively farmed and therefore has almost certainly had a good quality of life beforehand. Notice a welcome return of mutton is some quarters too.
Veal, unless it is English and grassfed, no. And tbh, what a hassle to find it...
And we should all stick out for British pork - Danish pigs may be fed organically but they are still crated and tethered, poor beasts, because we are the only country reliably implementing the Pig Husbandry & Welfare EU Directive which outlaws these cruel practices Angry Sad

I find the idea of eating lamb repugnant, for some reason. Maybe it's b/c I'm quite fond of lambs.

Shameless plug for my fav farmers: Ballencrieff Pork Farm. British pedigree pigs farmed organically. Their farm is lovely and all products are produced on site. A family run business and in a lovely part of hte country.

Bernard Matthews is known locally as a really bad employer so it doesn't surprise me that staff working there could do something like this.

Marina which butcher do you go to?
(I am in Kent).
