I would hazard a guess that most 'reasonable' lay people would not think that such a reaction to the drug in question was a likely possibility at all. Headaches ? Maybe. Upset stomach ? Maybe. Palpitations ? Perhaps. Tiredness ? Yep. Feeling stiff ? It's a possible... but your head swelling to x times its size, your fingers and toes going black and falling off... you wouldn't really 'expect' this in a trial IYSWIM - regardless of your motivations for entering into it.

Such a toxic product possibly has applications for chemical warfare... Sad

Badhair. Animal testing picks out 70% of all drugs in testing as having adverse reactions that are too extreme to warant testing in humans. So if there were no animal tests there would be far far more of this sort of thing. Out of all drugs in early testing 70% are found, by using animals, to be too dangerous to use.

So I am sorry but your argument doesn;t hold water.
