Queen has opinion on Abu Hamza... Gardner in the soup!

Did anyone catch the Today Prog this morning? Frank Gardner let slip that HMQ was quite interested in the Abu Hamza case and had wondered if he couldn't be arrested for something. Judging by the avalanche of apologies from the Beeb, Gardner's in very hot water. And judging by the slightly gleeful way in which he delivered the info, I don't think he did it by accident.

Oh, I heard thAT, was only half listening and didn't get it was a 'slip-up'. THought it was just 'news'. Ooooh!

I heard on the radio that the Beeb has apologised. Am surprised Frank was so open - Humphries stopped him and said, that's a major news story in itself and Frank was quite 'yeah, so' about it. Maybe he's had enough and is angling for redundancy...

Naughtie... But yes, I think there was a twinkle in Frank's eye as he lobbed it into the conversation. Something's hacked him off (no pun intended)
