Another G4S Olympics fiasco

Manchester police now providing security BBC story. I really hope the cost of this is to be paid by G4S.

Ponders, it was Alun Michael MP. According to the BBC he was part of the select committee quizzing G4S earlier

"Labour's Alun Michael asks about aspects of G4S's management which he says includes no pay for 12 days training, people who haven't received training, students being told they have to pay back training and uniform costs. "It doesn't sound like a kind way of treating people," he says."

I am just appalled that companies like G4S can treat desperate people like this while trousering vast amounts themselves

I also cant help wondering if they were also banking on using workfare for some of the Olympic security but after the Jubilee scandal realised that they wouldnt be able to get away with it. And since the Jubilee was only last month it gave them even less time to prepare after realising they wouldnt be able to use workfarers.

And in other Group 4 news, they've just got away with killing a man but no-one cares because he was 'only' a deportee. So apparently he deserved the death penalty at the hands of G4S security guards.
