Horrible local news story about circumcision

This is a harrowing and tragic story - please DON'T click on the link if you are easily upset but it made me so angry that I wanted to let others know that this "custom" can kill. Unless for medical reasons, I think circumcision should be fucking outlawed. I can barely believe that in a western country with free medical care, babies can actually die as a result.

My sons were circumcised for religous reasons as were all the boys in my community. Better jail us all but then you would be moaning about your taxes being used to keep so many people in prison. Wait I know why don't you keep us all in ghettoes

I think people are allowed to find it repulsive that parents are cutting off parts of their newborn babies snoopy.

Snoopy - grow up. Finding your habit of cutting off parts of your children unneccessarily does not turn us into Nazis. It's quite sad you have to raise that to justify mutilating your own child, FFS! I was second to post on here and as far as I can tell am the only one who has a circumcised child (for medical reasons NOT religious I might add) that has posted.

I still think it is very very wrong to circumcise a child for no good reason.
