Clive James: 'I'm getting near the end'.

Just wanted to say, Thanks mate, the world's been a better, funnier, warmer place for you being in it.

(And it's not like he's gonna read MN, but it's still better to say it while he's still around than wait till he's not.)

Oh. Clive James is a bit peeved; says that he still has a good few years left in him! Hurrah!

Mr. James caused me some embarrassing moments during my commuter days, crying with laughter reading his books on the train.
Hope he can stick around for some time.
