Nancy66 I think he sounds like a top bloke too. There, I've said it! A lot of people speak very highly of him, and I think he cant have got that CNN job without them checking him out very thoroughly.

Oh I don't doubt he knew all about phone hacking and journalists used it under his watch - but I suspect he'll get away with it.

However when I worked for him he was: clever, funny, hard-working, very very generous and very fair.

Thats pretty much the view of him I get from his books Nancy. And I love that he clearly seems to enjoy it all, so many people are so po-faced and serious whereas he looks like he's having a ball.

Yes, he enjoys life and I still think there's a part of him that can't quite believe he's got where he is.

Morgan knew the abuse photos (Abu Ghraib?) were fake - and also knew the story was true. Since no documentary evidence was publishable, he chose to break the true story using false evidence. It gave whistleblowers the confidence to speak up. He's done some things that impressed me much less, but on the whole I believe he's an honourable person.

Coulson is a different kettle of fish. No way he'll get everything that's coming to him (imo) but it's good to see cynical Narcissists power freaks shown out in daylight.

I'm no fan of Sheridan, hypocritical little nyaff that he is. But, I do think Coulson was an idiot to allegedly lie under oath at a perjury trial. How thick, or deluded, can he be to allegedly do that?
