Strange...most men I know think she looks ropey too thin!

Freckle · 07/02/2006 16:11

Yeah, right. This is Mrs. Control Freak talking. Like her 'men' have any say in it.

doormat · 07/02/2006 16:12

madonna conforming to a mans point of view and what he wants
she really is taking us for d heads now
we are not daft ya know
stupid bint

snowleopard · 07/02/2006 16:17

How many men has she got???

Maybe she means her gay stylists.

satine · 07/02/2006 16:18

How stupid does she think we are? Are we all supposed to fete her as a 'real' woman now because if it were up to her, she'd be getting through a tub of Ben and Jerry's a night? Honestly.

TinyGang · 07/02/2006 16:19

Too thin past a 'certain' age is very ageing I think. As is long hair.

That's my excuse anyway

noddyholder · 07/02/2006 16:20

According to her latest interview she drinks smoothies eats onlt steamed veg and does at least 3 hours of high impact yoga every day!

She's yucky. She looks like a scarecrow.

doormat · 07/02/2006 16:21

and looks like a freakin skeleton

snowleopard · 07/02/2006 16:23

Surely such a transformation is not beyond the queen of self-reinvention? I think she should tuck into the B&J's at once.

expatinscotland · 07/02/2006 16:25

She can't. She's still macrobiotic, methinks.

onefootinthegravy · 07/02/2006 16:27

If she put a bit of weight on she'd definately look younger - she looks drawn and haggard!
I used to hate having chubby cheeks but now I'm approaching 40 I'm glad! The thinner face you have the older you look!!

expatinscotland · 07/02/2006 16:28

She'd still be ugly, tho.

bundle · 07/02/2006 16:28

she is very thin, saw her on stage and she almost disappeared sideways-on...

poppadum · 07/02/2006 16:29

I can't believe this is the same Madonna who, throughout the nineties, tried to convince us that she was liberated, outrageous and her own woman. And here she is, turning into a real life Stepford wife. except they had some flesh on their bones and ate muffins once in a while.

expatinscotland · 07/02/2006 16:30

But the £25,000 question is: did Bundle pay to see Madonna on stage?!

northerner · 07/02/2006 16:35

I don't think she's stunning but she certainly has a great bod, but at what cost if she spends hours a day maintaining it?

Do worry about the issue with long hair being aging. I have long hair (always have) and am 30 this year. At what age is this unaceptable?

expatinscotland · 07/02/2006 16:36

W/Madonna I think it's more that she insists on keeping it Donatella Versace blonde that ages her.

northerner · 07/02/2006 16:38

On 10 years younger last week they were saying that Madonna's blonde doesn't age her as she's toned it down over the years. She's more of a honey/ash blonde now rather than Donatella brassy isn't she?

bundle · 07/02/2006 16:40

expat, I think dh paid, it was Up for Grabs on the west end stage. made the rest of the cast look like Oscar-contenders..

kittyfish · 07/02/2006 16:40

Donatella is seriously hideous.

northerner · 07/02/2006 16:41

Agree about Donatella. Just how rich is her daughter now?

Caligula · 07/02/2006 16:45

Whenever I read anything said by these female celebrities, it becomes clear why Greta Garbo insisted on not saying anything.

northerner · 07/02/2006 16:48

She did say 'I want to be alone'

Frieda · 07/02/2006 16:53

Northerner - I don't think you should worry about long hair at 30. I've got long (ish) hair and I'm considerably older than that .
