There can be various forms of 'prettiness', hair/eye colour can be whatever, but the ONE thing a woman or man needs to have to be generally considered attractive is good cheekbones, and none structure.

She appears to have none. She also has fairly piggy eyes and looks a bit lopsided. Oh dear. Self delusion is a terrible thing

The woman is a twerp, clearly. Has she not considered that her ego and idiotic tendencies might be the reason her friends avoid her?

I am very attractive and as I've got older I've learned not to let it intimidate people or get in the way of my relationships. Real beauty is about being a real person, it is about the mind of the person that you encounter. I'm staggered that she can get to her age and not realise this.

i watched her on thus morning and claimed that all the "impulse moments" i.e the train train ticket, and taxi. and this sort of thing only happens in france ?? so maybe its bum all to do with your looks and its normal for french men to do this. she also said that the women that where threatend by her where much older and not women of her own age. duh!! course an older woman will feel threatend when a slapper if a younger woman flirts with her DH.
also all the instances mentioned have been over 25 years not recently. gaaahhh!! i just want to give her a good sheckin!!

I've got some friends who are much prettier than me, some who are less, some who I don't think are pretty but men swoon over...etc etc. I bet this is the same for almost all women.

I heard Samantha Brick on the radio today and commented to my DH that I would bet lots of money on her not looking attractive but available, as surely that is the only reason why random men would send over bottles of champagne etc. Now I've seen the pictures, I still think my theory holds true.

Told myself I wouldn't watch This Morning but I did, despite the far, far, far more attractive psychologist sitting next to her, and the far more attractive host of the show saying to her (in far too polite a way if you ask me). That the reason for the hatred and lack of friends etc was far more down to attitude and the air she gives off then anything to do with looks. She continued to talk as tho she was gods gift and oh poor me for being beautiful.

Talking rubbish about being an ugly duckling until she was 14 when she changed her appearance and " dyed my hair blonde of course".

She is a vile woman, she really is, after reading the article and the one before about getting promotions by flirting etc, seeing her arrogance live on air was the final straw.

She is a vile contemptible creature, of a kind that not only drags feminism back to the dark ages but stands for election as a member of the Conservative party, stay in France and shut up forever more please.

Funny thing is that on her blog she mentions doing a photoshoot in Paris and being self conscious at the thought of all the Parisian beauties and her looking all chubby in comparison but luckily with good lighting she ended up looking OK.
And now she's God's gift?

How sad is she... All my best girlfriends are much more attractive. Interestingly the least attractive gets much the most attention from men but I think it's because she looks like she would be a bit of a dirty girl

When I was in my 20s and 30s I used to get a fair amount of drinks bought for me and all that shite. Because I was young and pretty. Like lots of other people in the same age group.

Daily Mail "journalist". She's clearly a professional troll. But the strange thing is when she appeared on This Morning or Daytime or whatever it was, she came across as genuinely believing that women didn't like her for her looks, and that we're all, by default, as dysfunctional as she is.

But, she's not even that attractive? I'd hesitate to even say pretty! :S

In my experience how you dress means more then anything else.

I remember buying a balconett bra and wearing it with a vest during my teenage years, after a day of dribbling curb crawlers and men in the street goorking at me I never did wear that bra again.

And if you don't want the undivided attention of every male in the land, don't wear Doc Martins, black studded jeans, black vest top, studded/chain belts and the like with a matrix style coat (especially the coat).

And never wear leather, even a biker jacket gets you marked out as being "up for it" by many.

Oh, I'd say Michael Sheen looks better! Lol. He's at least very talented - he can act.

I don't quite know why this woman has generated so much excitement over the Atlantic. Was this a ploy to get Daily Mail more publicity? Many readers genuinely thought it was a tongue in cheek or April Fool joke - why else would somebody make themselves look so bad?

FWIW, it looks like a long rant about why she didn't get promotions. So we've had people accusing their bosses of all sorts of things for not getting a promotion - being sexist, racist, homophobic, ageism, class discrimination, etc (thankfully most of these accusations are a private whinge in the pub between friends and never see the light of day)....now we have a new one: "she didn't promote me because I was too attractive"!!! How about - you weren't good enough? But that's too mundane/boring/painful to accept.
