A school has banned hot cross buns... for fear of offending non-christians
Younsters due to be served the buns for school lunch were given plain buns instead.
the head has stated she did not want to offend anyone...
The reverand has stated " this beggars belief, The school is quite wrong to act like this. All religions should respect eachother.I cant see a problem with serving good old hot cross buns to schoolchildren"
Suffolk council spokesman said" We have not issued any guidelines on hot cross buns, it is up to the individual school to decide what to do"

No, christmas wont be cancelled but shops will be banned from hanging decorations

I would wholeheartedly support a ban on Christmas "music" in shops.

It is interesting that a school would have buns of any description on the menu - its hardly a lunchtime staple is it?

I sound like my Grandmother now but here goes .... My Grandfather died in the war protecting our way of life and the democracy we have built up. Now hot cross buns are being banned from a school so as not to offend. AAarrrggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!
