Sorry if this is the wrong place to post but it is topical evwn if not in the news. Theres been lots pf debate about whether men are suited to working with kids or are better as providers. After the positive male responses my newborn has had, i feel i shpuld defend men. A male colleague took dd from her pram for a cuddle on a visit 2 work. Her uncle surprised me by changing her nappy then today a 50+ man stopped me in a shop to ask how old she was n telme to enjoy her. His 8 grew up too quickly. On the other hand a close female friend refused baby cuddles saying she preferred dogs. I think being a nurturer or provider is an individual issue rather than gender except for the issues society and tradition have with men and children.
