article here

I can't help but have a wry smile to myself. Will be interesting to see how this plays out in court. And I wonder what was in those emails that the Times were so keen to not release to the police.

"Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned / Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned." sorry, but it just had to be said, good one ya love Grin

I think his wife as got her just desserts a bit tbh. She dobbed him in it seemingly not expecting the fact that she had perverted the course of justice to eb taken seriously.

I am quite a Huhne fan and I am disappointed another seemily respectable intelligent politican has bitten the dust. His fault though entirely.

Well, he s not very bright is he. Would have been far simpler to admit the speeding, pay fine, do the driving ban bit, and over and done with.

GeorgeElliot - I agree that this is a sad loss to the government for us and the whole UK population. We need people like him who stand up for us.

He leaked the news that Gove was planning to spend our deficit tax on a yacht for the queen.

You have to commit a lot of driving offenses (or very serious ones) to lose your license. Perhaps this will help remind him to be a lot bit more careful when he gets behind the wheel in future, you know, before he hurts someone.

Not much sympathy here.

I wasn't aware that Michael Gove had the power to buy a yacht for the Queen! Grin

Hadn't he already got 9 points, so it would have meant an automatic ban.

Dorothy - apparently he is very intelligent and knows it, which makes him pretty unpopular.

I'd love to know what conversations are going on between Pryce and Huhne, or their lawyers.

If she decided to plead guilty that would make things very difficult for him because she'd be called as a witness.

At least Pryce hasn't said anything in public about her guilt or innocence. Huhne has.

Of course, we must treat him as innocent until proved otherwise. It could all be a horrible mistake.

I heard an interview on Friday with Mr Loophole, Nick Freeman, who said this case was beyond his magic powers because he specialises in combing paperwork to find where the police or CPS have made an error.

Pryce and Huhne signed documents agreeing that she was the one who was driving.
