How can they have been unaware it was a silent film? I thought that was a big reason for its publicity.

Its supposed to be very good though. Might have a look next week. if I can find a way of not paying £8.50 per sodding ticket

HugeFurryWishingStool · 22/01/2012 18:13

But there's a musical score throughout, surely this is made up? goes off to read article

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/01/2012 18:18

It's not made up - it was on the news the other day too.

Pagwatch · 22/01/2012 18:19

No, it's not made up.
It was on a couple of BBC news reports. Unless the cinema are lying.

People wander into cinemas every day without much thought for what they're going to see beyond: 'I've heard about that. It's supposed to be good.'

Some of them end up leaving because the film is too violent, sweary, sexy or boring for them. Some of those ask for their money back.

That wouldn't make such a good story as: 'Stupid Scousers confused by Art,' especially in the Telegraph where it was the Page 3 lead before being picked up.

They didn't quote anyone who'd demanded their money back just a cinema manager who said it had happened in a 'small number of cases'.

Even the director concedes that if you don't like a film you have every right to try to get your money back.
