Horrible massacre was very local

I can't say much because the press have been snooping, knocking on doors. But two of the people lived just round the corner from me. I just can't believe it. I'm always horrified when this happens but it does hit home when it's so close.

Am shocked that he had so many firearms legally. Am just shocked full stop. You feel so useless when something like this happens? I'm sure the locals will rally round and try to support those who are left.

Dp got up for work and was speechless for ages when I told him, don't think it's sunk in even now.

The taxi driver in Birmingham who was stabbed in the back of his head and died lived directly in the house opposite to mine. My ex DP did some building work for them when they first moved here. Lovely family. It is shocking when this happens to somebody you know or are aquainted with.

The next morning after the incident the press were knocking my door. I declined to answer any questions.
