The main thing is that it looks like The News of the Screws twisted the story when it first came out years ago. Natalie Rowe claims the paper hacked her phone, nicked the story which she was going to sell to a rival and made her look untrustworthy, to save Osborne's career, who at the time was managing David Cameron's Tory leadership campaign. To return the favour, Osborne later recommends Coulson for the job as NastyTory Party Spin Doctor. Allegedly.

Hmmmm. Not so much Raving Coke Head as 'snorted some coke in his twenties before he knew he'd be running the country's finances'.

Obviously, if he is still snorting coke then I think, as a nation, we'll need to reconsider the way our secret services are vetting politicians.
