amazon should withdraw them.....posties should 'hide' them!!

Cocoflower · 09/08/2011 20:51

If you click on the link in OP it just reports the increase, it doesnt report absolute figure though Im afraid.

However, if you scroll through the sites newfeed at only 18.06 (today) the increase was 6000%

Less than two hours later this had lept up from 6000% to the whopping 50000% which I think anyone can agree on is an alarming rate

What bran said.

Cocoflower · 09/08/2011 21:36

Hmm Im sorry but if you look at amazon rankings too they are very high in space of 24 hours which confirms a massive rise in sales.

I would want to see the absolute numbers.

Have to admit to not knowing how amazon rankings work - does this show something for absolute numbers?

JemimaMuddledUp · 09/08/2011 21:40

Maybe they all took a free trial of Amazon prime to get express delivery?

Cocoflower · 09/08/2011 21:49

Im sure that all it must be.

If you're worried that this means vigilanteism is starting up, you're right to be. Just listening to R4 and slightly horrified that someone thought it was a good idea to set up an 'Enfield Defence League'... Ironically, police manpower had to be diverted to that area, not to suppress rioters but to make sure the vigliantes didn't kick off.
