Brad Pitt to adopt Angelina's children

'Brad Pitt's publicist has confirmed that the actor is in the process of becoming the adoptive father of Maddox and Zahara Jolie. In court papers filed Friday, it was revealed that Brad and Angelina are petitioning the court to change the names of the children to Maddox Jolie-Pitt and Zahara Jolie-Pitt. Pitt's publicist admits that they are "confirming that Brad Pitt is in the process of becoming the adoptive father of both children," but says that no further comment will be made on the matter.
'Rumors are floating that the adoption is one of the first steps towards cementing the family - prenups have also apparently been drawn up for a future marriage between the pair.'

I might be being dense, but...isn't Maddox already adopted by Billy Bob? What happens there? Does Billy Bob no longer feel he's his father just because he and Angelina have split up? Does anyone know how that works legally?

Seems to me that Pitt changes according to whoever he's with. Seems to have had a complete personality transplant since hooking up with Jolie, I mean it's great that they're doing charity work and raising awareness about the under-priveleged, in fact I really admire Jolie for everything she does.

But Brad - he had his hair cut like Gwyneth when he was with her - just seems that his own identity becomes too linked with his partner's, but I do hope, since there are kids involved, that they are really serious.

I think I read somewhere that even Jen is not sure why they split, and she said she may never know the truth.

DP and I were talking about them the other night. DP reckons although Jen is beautiful she is not sexy whereas Angelina is and he reckons guys would choose a sexy woman above a beautiful one.

I expect Brad will last about 5 minutes like Jolie's previous husband.

jen and brad probably saw each other 4 times a year. he seems totally infatuated with ms jolie and I'll bet he just fell in love with her and dumped poor jen. problem is infatuation wears off and angelina doesn't have a great track record does she. there must be something nice about her though or they wouldn't have let her adopt the children and she is ALWAYS photographed with Maddox so does seem genuinely to be a hands on mum.

As well as having a mouth like an infected bumhole, she is also a hypocrite. I understand that she loathes her father partly because of his womanising and the pain it caused her mother. But she is perfectly happy to wreck another woman's marraige it would seem

I still can't help feeling sorry for Jennifer Aniston. Keep imagining how I would feel if my Dh had done the same and it was public knowledge and then to take on her children as well I guess we'll never know the full story.

will they be hands on parents? I suppose the ten month old has a permanent nanny. I always found it strange that she wanted to adopt children so young, and as a single woman. I wonder what agenda she has, but i'm not sure how mature she is. I may be wrong tho. And agree Brad seems to have a personality transplant with each relationship. Hope it lasts for the kids' sake.
