Ds very disappointed as the new date for the end of the world is his 16th birthday. He commented today that this meant he wouldn't be able to enjoy his presents, and that it diminishes the chances of him having sex!! He did cheer up at the thought of avoiding all the GCSE revision though ..... this will be the new excuse for not doing homework!

That bloke reminds me of when we were kids and used to sit in the back of the car claiming we could predict when the traffic lights would turn green..... 'now!....... 'now!'..... ... 'now!' Eventually, we'd be right. :) Nutter.

or Phoebe from friends 'changing' the tv channel by blinking

I'm 30 and can't remember a 6 month period in my lifetime when i wasn't being told the end of the world was imminent.

When i was younger it gave me panic attacks, so i feel for all the naive people who are believing this codswallop and worrying themselves sick.

I've been enjoying the jokes going 'round about it.

The reworking of Rebecca Black's Friday several times.

The guy who posted he had intended on leaving little piles of clothing around his American hometown so religious nuts would think they'd been left behind.

The fake FB Rapture draft invite with the first RSVP as "Jesus is not attending".

Is Camping going for 3rd time lucky?

Actually even better was the Failbook FB posting where some friends were joking about how China would be the first big country to go due to time differences.

One wag writes that it has and now there is just ocean where it used to be only to have another friend IM asking if that was true.

So there'd be enough gullible people out there to believe this was a dry run.
