Madonna said that Guy ritchie balked at changing their child's nappies because he was a man's man and it was 'not a man's job'! Reassuring to find that in this article other so called 'men's men disagree with this.

God, that is so weird, imagine never having changed your child's nappy!

sobernow - please excuse my naivety!

Caligula · 11/11/2005 20:43

Oh how the mighty have fallen.

She's a real advertisement for living hard, dying young isn't she.

Along with Mick Jagger.

monkeytrousers · 11/11/2005 21:25
Smile
ruty · 12/11/2005 09:33

i thought the horse incident was made up as an excuse to disappear and have her 189th face lift.

puff · 12/11/2005 10:14

rofl at expat's "she's a nasty ol' ho-hag".

Can't wait for Parky tonight.

I have always been fascinated by her - that pathological ambition etc. My baby sis (9 years younger than me) was/is a big madonna fan and I was the one who had to take her to the concerts. All good, but we stopped going when she overdid the sex stuff. Then we started going again when she regained her senses a little.

Went to the last concert at Wembley, twas good, but you can tell she's getting on as she had to sit down with her guitar a lot.

puff · 12/11/2005 10:15

oh, also noticed on the parky clip that when she waved she had a bingo wing.

We are such bitches on here !!!!!

likklemum · 13/11/2005 02:28

Afriend of mine has a husband who refuses to change nappies. My DP would NEVER get away with it. It would be more that his lifes worth to even suggest such a thing! Told friend to feed her baby nappy-filling concoctions (nutritionally balanced of course!) and go shopping for the day!!!

Tinker · 13/11/2005 09:47

I spotted the wobbly arm wave as well . God, she's boring tough. And what a horrible pre-selected sycophantic audience.

PeachyChrimbo · 13/11/2005 10:09

It anoyed me when she kept referring to herself as 'The Queen' too

so it would be...

No I cannot change your Nappy for I am QUEEN Madonna.

Yes course you are dear, just keep on deluding yourself and before you know it the old age dementia will remove any sensible thoughts you have in that very strange mind of yours. If there are any, anyhow.

And if you can't swear without being embarassed of it, don't bloody swear FGS!

yULeYSEES · 13/11/2005 10:18

What's with the mad one's accent fgs?? She's English now with an american twang. Maybe she thinks if she gets the accent down to pat we'll crown her

If she's got bingo wings with all that working out then I'm giving up

Moomin · 13/11/2005 10:21

janet street porter wrote a great article about her in the Indy on sunday a week or 2 ago, calling her an insufferable pious hypocrite. for eg, she says she wouldn't dream of allowing her kids to watch tv, but obviously doesn't mind YOUR kids (ie those belonging to the great unwashed) doing so and getting brainwashed by her adverts for mobile phones etc
i didnt used to mind her but i think she's a right silly old bint now

yULeYSEES · 13/11/2005 10:24

Good point moomin.

Moomin · 13/11/2005 10:28

[oo are we doing christmas names now? I shall reveal mine then...!]

PeachyChrimbo · 13/11/2005 10:33

I don't know if we're supposed to Moomin, but I thought I might as well as Father Christmas has now been to school TWICE, and all my icome has been blown in BHS!!!!

I love Christmas. When I have saved enough to pay for it anyway!

yULeYSEES · 13/11/2005 10:35

I know I'm one of those who rant about it coming too early but I couldn't resist it

Moomin · 13/11/2005 10:35

am upset! can't do my name - it says someone else is already using it but I cant believe anyone would duplicate it! anyway, gotta go dd2 wailing

yULeYSEES · 13/11/2005 10:40

Oh no moomin Can you not just put a no. after it? What a shame.

yULeYSEES · 13/11/2005 10:40

Moomincepie?

PeachyChrimbo · 13/11/2005 10:43

sat here with the music playing on the PC, just came up Rock N Roll Christmas! LOL!

Traditionally, the song is sung as 'it's not bloody Christmas, it's not even December' (try it, it fits!) as the theme is forever used in the Carnivals in September! But this year I am early

aloha · 13/11/2005 10:47

She's the Maggie Thatcher of pop. Blonde Ambition indeed.

puff · 13/11/2005 10:55

ulysses, I thought that too about working out! Here I am managing to drag myself to the gym 3 times a week, hoping for the wobble to wibble less, but if Madonna can't crack it, well........

She does need to put more weight on, she's reminding me of a skinned rabbit.

Does anyone remember the pics of V Beckham during her last pregnancy - she had put some weight on in her face and looked years younger and much prettier!!!!!!!

Caligula · 13/11/2005 11:22

I thought she seemed immensely nervous and uncomfortable on Parky. Was she scared of him?

sis · 13/11/2005 11:39

I missed parkinson as had family round for dinner last night but reassured to learn that she was as insufferable as ever. Don't really like parkinson either he seems to ask lots of questions but barely ackowledges the answers before moving onto the next question on his script - at least that is what he did with Antonio Banderas.
