Facebook-mad parents name their baby girl 'Like'

An Israeli girl will grow up with the name "Like" after her social networking enthused parents named her after a Facebook function.

According to Israeli radio station Galgalatz, her parents were looking for a unique name for their third daughter and originally looked at Chinese names before settling on Like.

Like's older sisters are called Pie and Dvash (the Hebrew word for honey).

Father Lior Adler said so far 50 of his 120 Facebook friends had posted that they liked the baby's name.

In February an Egyptian man named his new daughter Facebook in celebration of the website's role in triggering the Arab Spring.

I hope she has a sibling.
I have fingers crossed for WTF!
Or lol. Lol would work in fairness.

I wish Mumsnet had a 'Like' function so I could like this.

Potplant · 17/05/2011 13:20

Think I'd rather be called Like than Pie.

Hello All, Help!
Am trying to organise family meal out for 18+ people including 5 children under 8. Usually go to fam friendly pub in Portishead with indoor play but childless family memebers refusing to go back there because we were all hit with sick bug after last visit. Any suggestionsfor good places around Bristol/North Somerset that would enable us parents to relax a bit & children occupied? (apart from leaving singleton family memebers behind! or children!)

Rach4 · 19/05/2011 12:54

sorry - posted in wrong place!!!!

mum2b30 · 19/05/2011 14:25
