only in England

I started a thread before and the title got screwed up so thought I'd post it again as it amused and flabbergasted me.

I used to live in flats above shops in Hants, one shop became a nursery - it had no back garden at all.
The noise was horrendous at times and caused us many problems.
But it was in extremely close proximity directly below pricate housing.
This article seems a little ridiculous!

I just have. Am still amazed. I've had noisy neighbours but that is ridiculous.

Not only England, Caligula, Ireland too! Our nursery had a complaint about noise from their next-door neighbour. They had to move the children from their lovely grassy lawn with all the great outdoor toys to a little tarmac side-yard away from the nasty neighbour. However nasty's house is now up for sale!

make sure you let the kids play out whenever a potential buyer comes round, so that a) any curmudgeonly buyer is put off by the kids and b) only someone who likes them will buy the house!
