NomDePlume · 08/11/2005 10:09

Enid works doesn't she ?

LIZS · 08/11/2005 10:10

Lawyer friend thought it might suit me several years back, just after I'd had ds , but never pursued it and circumstances changed. Might think about it again once dd is settled in at school and I've got our life more sorted ! Now they are at school I'll need to do something - do you get paid ?

cardQUEENcod · 08/11/2005 10:10

no

OP posts:
Fistybit · 08/11/2005 10:12

I would love to do it, if I didn't work already.

cardQUEENcod · 08/11/2005 10:12

you can ask your emplyer to let you have time off

OP posts:
NomDePlume · 08/11/2005 10:13

Would it be paid leave though ?

Fistybit · 08/11/2005 10:14

Is an employer obliged to give you the time off?

cardQUEENcod · 08/11/2005 10:25

hunkermunker · 08/11/2005 10:26

I'd love to do this. It appeals to my sense of justice

But not right now. Unless they let you breastfeed in court?

Fistybit · 08/11/2005 10:27

may look and see what the company policy is....have thought about this for years.

piffle · 08/11/2005 10:30

what sort of person do they like best?

LadyTophamHatt · 08/11/2005 10:57

I almost started a thread about this yesterday but couldn't think of a catchy title!

It's being advertised on capital radio alot. Maybe there aren't eough JP's to go around.

mrsflowerpot · 08/11/2005 11:00

WEbsite is here - funnily enough this is something I have thought about for a long time and the ads have just prompted me to send off for an info pack.

Caligula · 08/11/2005 11:22

I sent off for an info pack about a month ago, but again it's the time angle. Just don't know how I could fit it in. It's 2 days a month, isn't it?

Enid · 08/11/2005 11:25

I have it marked down as something to do next.

handlemecarefully · 08/11/2005 11:27

I would be quite interested. What sort of time commitment is involved?

handlemecarefully · 08/11/2005 11:27

Oh just seen Caligula's post. 2 days per month is quite possible for me.

cardQUEENcod · 08/11/2005 12:16

sorry yes two days a month

OP posts:
cardQUEENcod · 08/11/2005 12:17
