I hadn't heard about the person who wasn't all she claimed to be until I read this from the inquest today.

Very odd indeed - she died a month later aged 35 here What strange, strange lives some people lead. So terribly sad. As an aside the things she claimed to be or have done remind me very much of the trolls who crop up here - especially the baby thing.

Anyway - I hadn't heard about this before today so though somebody else might also find it interesting.

Very sad. You just wish she'd sought some kind of psychiatric help and learned to accept the life she had, rather than the fantasy.

What do you think causes people to behave like that? I think it must go back to a fundamental lack of attention in childhood. I can't really see any other reason why you would seek to make yourself more interesting in such a bizarre fashion. Unless there's some sort of neurological thing going on that we don't yet understand.

It is sad for her, and you can see from the article that she has caused distress to one of the victim's family. So not only destructive in her own life, unfortunately.

I hadn't heard about this no, but think you are correct about Internet trolls. I think the internet ones are more likely to be otherwise normal people, that their partners, friends and family wouldn't believe of them.
