Interesting. Given Sarkozy's unpopularity she will be a serious contender - maybe even getting through to the final 2 - but she won't win.

Well, Marine Le Pen isn't particularly au fait with the political class, but France is more racist than Britain.

I can easily see her doing a Geert Wilders - especially as she seems to be "softening" some of the more ludicrous aspects of her father's policies - homophobia, etc.
