Hurrah for them and their lawyer husbands. But see the comments. Sigh

Oh my god, were those comments from the 19th Century? Staggeringly ignorant.

theyoungvisiter · 16/12/2010 22:55

Surely RJ, UK must be a mumsnetter in disguise, competing for the "most offensive comment to sneak in under the ES comment radar"?

I know it's a sport of choice to compete for who gets the most red arrows on the Mail comments section Grin

Good grief at the comments. That bloke who has given his full name and location and then made comments that are clearly sexist about his employees strikes me as rather foolish.

Jolly well done the sacked workers and their lawyer dhs.

Comments sections on newspaper websites attract a selection of unhinged, angry men, masquerading as normal folk, it seems to me...

Good grief.

Do a lot of people really want women in the UK to stop having babies altogether? It's such a strange stance to take.

TinselInDisgrace · 17/12/2010 14:43

If you look at the comments on any guardian article about children, you'll find a lot of people who don't think anyone should have children. Anywhere. Ever.

ISNT · 17/12/2010 14:44

But without any children the human race stops. where's the advantage in that?

tethersjinglebellend · 17/12/2010 14:48

My favourite:

"This equality business was the first step towards the PC nonsense that is rotting society."

ISNT: they're malthusians, so they think the human race should cease to exist on environmental grounds. I didn't say it was a logical position, but you don't have to be logical to post on cif. In fact, I think it helps if you're utterly deranged.

You also get people who see themselves as 'poor' moaning about how they have to pay the 50% tax rate (so on incomes about £150k).

ISNT · 17/12/2010 15:27

Bonkers.

Ephiny · 17/12/2010 17:10

I love the comment criticising them for making the 'lifestyle choice' to be single mothers...except it's clear from the article that they're both married Hmm.

Some of those have got to be 'troll' comments though - surely no one really thinks like that?
