No surprises there really - no amount of editing could be solely responsible for how that woman is portrayed on TV. I am mildly surprised that she doesn't have an agent or suchlike to have steered her out of this type of trouble.

Not hte first time she and her partner have been investigated for this. Apparently, at the time Wife Swap aired, her husband had been working as a builder cash in hand. One witness even produced the marketing flyer he'd been using to advertise his services.
