Radio 4 presenter's big mistake

Radio 4 presenter has just accidentally called the culture minister Jeremy Hunt,Jeremy C... He then nearly chokes to death to cover his error. Nearly dropped my breakfast when I heard it.....poor man!

It was made worse by the chap reading the news after who couldn't stop laughing and said he had a cough!

oh for goodnes sake - why are people emailing to complain? It was a mistake. Are people really that sensetive?

It was the funniest thing I have heard for a long time. James couldn't stop laughing. I can't really believe people complained, it was obviously a mistake.

I didn't hear it, but when they trailed the interview earlier I thought in my infantile fashion that it was a name inviting a Freudian slip.

(Apologies to other Hunts - it's only because he's a politician; I used to work with a Hunt and the thought never crossed my mind. Xmas Blush)

some linguist emailed to say that the mistake was actually the PM's fault, for giving the job of Culture secretary to someone called Hunt. Transposed consonants v common mistake Grin
