I don't understand why the mother only got 10 days in jail and her partner received 36-60 months. I hate the way women get off lightly for this kind of vile crime. His sentence is pathetic; hers isn't really even a sentence, is it? Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to a longer term, FFS.

I have been working as an HV in tough inner city area for a long time and this does not surprise me. Have walked into horrible households where parents have either completely neglected their kids or been cruel to them. Have been witness to lots being removed to places of safety,usually by my initial referral.

What worries me is with over 500 families on my caseload,just mine, who am I going to miss?

This has really really upset me - I have a little boy of a similar age and to think of anything like this happening to him is heartbreaking - but to actively do it yourself......

And I hope she never gets her child back, that he can find a home with a loving family and not with this witch of a woman. Seriously, some people should just not be parents - ever.

You know what really upsets me is the human rights people who say it's a RIGHT to have a child sorry not if you do this to them No NO No.
