traceybath · 28/08/2010 14:05

An ex was an environmental health officer and had to deal with quite a few similar cases.

Tis very sad indeed.

nevergoogle · 28/08/2010 14:06

ok, ok, i'll go do the housework.

StealthPolarBear · 28/08/2010 14:07

yes I am off to declutter dragon :)

whomovedmychocolate · 28/08/2010 14:11

Poor bugger. :(

How do you live with someone who lives like that though - it'd drive me demented. Indeed hoarding was probably 80% of the reason for the breakdown of my first marriage. :(

How sad. What a way to end up Sad

ArseHolio · 28/08/2010 14:33

I don't believe the body could have been there for 4 months.

If you've ever smelt a rotting human corpse you'd know why.

The Smell, fluids, flies and maggots would be intolerable even to someone used to living in complete squalor.

nevergoogle · 28/08/2010 17:37

i'm fairly sure a small mouse may lie dead and undetected for 4 months in my house, but i'd like to think i'd find a human quicker than that.

marantha · 28/08/2010 18:05

Not even a small mouse, nevergoogle, the cat brought home a mouse which it had slaughtered and deposited it in the sitting room. The smell hit you as soon as you walked in the room.
