Just terrible, the poor Mother

Poor baby.

I used to live down the road from the Cowgate area and it really is a horrible place.

Also saw in the paper this morning that a two-year-old was found sobbing next to the body of his 19-year-old mother - she'd been stabbed to death. And the mother who committed suicide yesterday with her two young children.

People need to care more about other people.

i agree monkey trousers poverty is a huge factor in brutalizing people - but i don't think we can dismiss the kind of violence people are exposed to from a young age nowadays - we really are experimenting with upcoming generations with no idea of the effect on society. But Cowgate does sound hellish - don't know how the government can allow people to live in such conditions.

Mother charged with murder

"A mother has been charged with murder after her baby boy died in a house fire.

Alexander Gallon, aged four months, died in the blaze at the property in Cowgate, Newcastle, on Sunday night.

Another woman, in her early 20s, has been released on police bail after being questioned as part of the inquiry.

Wails was released from hospital after suffering minor bruises to the face and was being comforted by her family before she was arrested."
