End of new playgrounds!

The government are stopping the building of playgrounds under the Playbuilder.

Am probably more gutted than most as they were supposed to be building one down my road and it was going to be ace. Probably will be scrapped now.

Merrymouse, lots of Tories have already been doing 'caring' stuff, and for years. I know it is hard for the Left to accept that we are not all rich w.nkers.

My elderly FIL is probably doing something for other people most weeks. He is now 83. He regards it as natural to help other people and doesn't need the Big Society to tell him to do this. He is very right wing and thinks that free societies of the kind he wants only function if people like him work for the wider good.
