I've just seen the most chilling news on AOL about a baby being thrown in front of a bus by a teenage girl. I can't get my head around it! It makes me afraid to go out with my DD

There doesn't have to be pre-meditation as such just an intention to kill with 'malice aforethought' which means that they knew that death would/was likely to result. See here

I'd guess that the 14yo has been bailed because it was the other girl (the one they are still looking for) who actually did the throwing and she (the one who's already been arrested) has made a full statement in order to be seen to be cooperating. Only a guess, mind you.

I literally cudnt get my head round it either...never heard a story quite like it :(

On an irrelevant side note, it happened in the town i used to work (up until 2 weeks ago) and it does nothing to improve its awful reputation..makes me wanna stop going there at all tbh.
