Should I get it laundered or dry cleaned?

laundréred and tumble dried to fluff it up again.

Mousey I would not agree they smell BAD when laundered: I always get them dry cleaned of course you could read the label if it's still there!

I don't think you can tumble dry feathers.

i wouldn't get it dry cleaned - the chemicals used are horrible.

feathers can be washed and tumble dried. the only reason a duvet would smell after laundering would be that it had not been thoroughly dried.

I wash my feather duvets, my ds's constantly as he has bet wetting issues.

They never smell and in good weather I don't even tumble them, just hang them on the line and keep giving them a good shake, they always fluff up beaufifully. Though don't try line drying unless they are box sewn.

I got mine laundered, no problem.
