dishwasher is not washing properly

my bottom shelf dishes washes perfect but my top shelf looks like it not been touched. Ive done everything now and i think it may be cos its not spinning around anymore (problems started back in December when we had the coldest night and we ended up having ice in my dw tube outside so since then it not been perfect).

it not new and ive had it for a 1.5 yrs before the problems started.

it is time for a new one?

Have you taken the arm out and made sure it is all clean and water can get out ?

Its probably an easy repair if it is just the top arm

a few times ive been checking if the arm had been rotating on the top shelf (as when i heard the arms are rotating, i switch it off and i open the door super quick to check, but it doesnt seem to move at all but the bottom had).

i do hope it is summat simple instead of throwing the whole dishwasher away!

the water in the filter (on the bottom of the dw), sometimes its dirty water and sometimes its clean water. i cant think of anything else i can do.

have you googled the model and the fault?
You often find really good info for easy fixes doing that
