What does it mean when cleaner says she is 'insured'?

Looking to hire a cleaner and wondering whether anyone knew what the above meant

That she has public liability insurance. For instance if she happens to spill a bottle of bleach over your carpet her insurance will pay.

Against breakages i expect.
