dyson hoover just cut off

my dyson hoover has just cut off while i was hoovering its always kepts very clean so nothing stuck in any hoses filter is all clean im ment to be getting my carpets professionaly cleaned in 2 hours

any ideas, do these hoovers cut off mabee once they get too warm hoover is only bout 2 months old its one of the upright older version ones

Are you sure nothing is stuck? I had to tak ehte base off mine and poke a chopstick into it to clear a sock I hadn't noticed
