We recently hired Superb Moves www.superb-moves.co.uk/ for a Full Packing and Un-packing move in London. They were very competitively priced, and were on-time and very professional for all appointments.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone

I'd recommend these. Not quite London based but they're cheap and do removals up and down country. www.affordable-removers.co.uk/contact-us.php

Hi, I would say choosing a good removal company is biggest task if you want to move with out hassle last time we moved with Removals London Company and we end with too much trouble and when we get to other property they start asking for extra money and when we refused they start shouting in our new neighbourhood that was embracing than paid them extra omg! But this time first we were thinking to do on our our own but when i speak to Sara in Britannia Man And Van London she gave me an confidence we decided to choose them we had absolutely an amazing experience they were polite all that and time and were very professional Check Online //www.britanniavanandman.co.uk

I found out O'Briens removals (07928 655 629) through a recomendation. I was very impressed with their packing skills. A very stress free move, i would use them again. Not your normal removal men, they even drunk herbal tea!

Removals Balham is a local company specifically for SW, but they also work for all of London. I'd always recommend a local company, because they're more affordable. These ones in particular, I tried this year and they did a decent job. www.removalsbalham.co.uk

Does anyone else suspect that some of the posts on this page are made by people who actually work for or own the companies in question and are just advertising them?

I need a removal firm myself but I'm reluctant to trust some of these recommendations.

never used a professional cleaning service (assume that's an end of tenancy thing), maybe try Googling 'professional cleaning london' or something . But can definitely recommend a moving company called South West London Removals or SW Removals. Have only moved house three times before but will definitely use SW from now on after the last experience, completely not what I expect from typical delivery men. Very careful with every box I had and so polite and professional. Defo worth a look:

We've used Elephant Removals several times for our house removals and as always had a wonderful experience with this relocation specialists. We would indeed recommend them to anyone looking to move home.

Talk about looking after customers!
Very professional and knowledgeable in South London and not overly expensive.
Great removal company.

Hope all goes well.

I had to log in and use my facebook to do so, so don't work for the company I recommended.
I thought this forum was supposed to offer impartial advice to others?

I hope what you asked is not the case because we would seek advice from people using this forum ourselves.

Hey all.
Looking at some posts on here - someone was quite right to suggest they look like the removal companies advertising.
I mean - why would anyone add a picture of packaging materials to a post asking about a good removal company?

Looks a bit suspect.

I did recommend Harradines removals in South London but to be sure you could always search the National Guild of removers website to see a reputable company?
Type National Guild or Removers into a search engine and it will find reputable members.

Better to be safe than sorry I guess.

Thanks. Smile

Just moved from 2 bed flat in Chiswick to house in Earlsfield and used 'Rutherfords of London,' local Earlsfield company. Good price, really hard working nice guys and they didn't mind tip toeing around when my 3 month old twins were having their afternoon nap. Well worth giving them a try! 10/10

Hi! After moving from a 2 bedroom garden house to a 4 bedroom detached house, these guys I couldn't recommend highly enough. They where professional, reliable, fast and trustworthy. They did all the lifting and shifting work and when we got to my new place they put everything I wanted in the correct rooms. They even helped make beds and most of the cupboards, wardrobes, tables and so on. all that was really left for me and my husband was unpacking our personal belongings and kitchen bits and bobs. They certainly went the extra mile. www.londonremovals.co/

I used Safe Removals twice and they were excellent. Think they cover whole London and not only. Very professional I would say.
