Oh please help me get rid of SILVERFISH

They are in the upstairs kid's bathroom, kitchen cupboards, airing cupboard. Our house isn't damp, it's v v clean but still they come. I've tried everything suggested online and I am at the end of my tether. Tonight tried to make a cake and they were in the flour, in the cake tin and in my mum's mug when she went to make a cup of tea (all different areas of a v big kitchen). {angry]

Cloves.

Sprinkle cloves everywhere they are and buy some oil of cloves to dab around.

They hate it.

Thanks HJ but I have tried putting cloves in the cupboard. Maybe I should try oil of cloves. Have you tried this?

I have tried it and had success.

This is pretty much my one and only housekeeping tip.
