I need a new bagless compact hoover!

Which hoover should i buy? Would really like the new dyson city one but it's £££ but maybe worth the money? What other makes are good?

we bought a dyson about 2 years ago - and it is nowhere near as good as the original basic one we got about 15 years ago. I don't know about other makes - but certainly I don't think dysons are as good as they used to be (oddly).
