moving in 2 weeks - help me!

ok - so we move on 2 and a bit weeks, am very excited but feel I should be doing more to sort things out

please give me your top tips!

removals firm booked, and they will do majority of packing too

have 3 dc's and 2 cats

dh is deployed so will miss the whole thing

anyone moved recently? did you make it easy on yourself?

get a pack of red stickers and tag everything that you do not want to go in removal van (kettle, anything you're leaving behind,etc)

get hob nobs for the removal chaps

do room plan for new house to stick up near front door so the removal folk don't keep having to ask which bedroom is which - get labels ready to label each room too

make emergency kit for yourself - scissors, strings, tape, paracetemol, legal documents, phone numbers, phone charger etc

put cats in a cattery

arrange one room to be the kids snug when you get there - ensure they have some blankets/duvets to chill out on and a tv to watch - even if things run late they can just bed down there

will sort kids room out first - am going to make sure their beds are put together first before anything else

mustn't forget the hobnobs!
