I've been looking at an ad for a Halogen oven in the Robrt Dyas catalogue.

Does anyone have one and are they any good? They seem almost to be almost too good to be true!

They are just under £50 at Asda now. I have one but not a jml one. It is fantastic. I put big baked potatoes in the microwave for a few minutes before finishing off for about 20 minutes in the halogen, it is the best baked taties I have ever had. Frozen sausages done in 10 minutes, just get one and start playing, you won't regret it.

I have a Remoska and it is excellent - does the best jacket potatoes, crumbles and cakes I've ever tasted and it very versatile for other food too. Mine was a wedding gift but I owuld rally recommend it.

The hallogen oven is half price at JML at the moment

ALTHOUGH Its not much better deal tho than the Coopers of Stortford one that I have and I am still raving to anyone who will listen about their customer service
I dropped and smashed the glass bowl on mine and they replaced it under warranty!! I explained it was all me and not a fault and they still sent me a FOC replacement. Amazing company- heres a link hallogen oven. Its worth buying the extras pack too IMO

Hallogen oven's are amazing- especially for children's tea time food like chicken and chips or fishfingers ready and perfect from freezer to plate in 10-12 minutes instead of 20 by the time you have preheated etc etc, and nicer and more moist too, but also for 'real' food like roasts and tasty chicken marinaded. Totally rubbish for casseroles IMO and IME but otherwise best product ont eh market today (except my roomba)
Think mine is 12L
