black lines down lcd tv screen, can they be fixed?

i suspect it has been caused by the kids hitting the screen at some point.

its like its 'leaking' down the screen, and is getting slightly worse as time goes on.

really dont want to replace the tv just yet.

I don't think it can be fixed.

I have Jesus Christs face pn my LCD. I keep meaning to ring The Sun and see if they want to do a story.
