Getting snot off the sofa fabric?

My ds (14mo) has just learnt to climb on to the sofa and no matter how vigilant I am seems to manage to wipe his constantly runny nose all over it...

So I wondered if anyone had any good tips on how to get snot off the a fabric without leaving marks. The fabric has been treated with the guardsman stuff and is fixed so can't go in the washing machine or anything.

Any thoughts welcomed! Thanks

baby wipe. for everything.

I agree, usually baby wipes are OK. I've got a great leather sofa that's wipe clean to cope with all the spills that come with kids! What type of sofa do you own?

Thanks a lot - it looks as if baby wipes have done the trick - not something I would have thought of trying!

Yes I'm rather regretting not going for leather now...!

Good to hear it helped! Fabric can be quite difficult to manage unless it is particularly easy to take off the chair and put in the washing machine. Leather can be a lot easier to manage, are you thinking about getting something to replace your fabric sofa?
