The one we're looking at in Curry's is cheap as chips but will it last more than a year?

I have one of these, and I have been really impressed. Maybe we have just got lucky (and it isnt a year old yet!) but it washes really well. Its a lot better than the expensive LG one that we had bought before the Beko one.

Thanks tiger, I found a 5% discount code and I've bought the thing.

Now I just have to muddle by until saturday with no washing machine and three grubby kids.

How ever did our grandmothers manage?

I have a BEKO machine...it has lasted 3 years so far....I'm not overly impressed with its washing capability compared to my last Hotpoint one but it is ok.

BigMommaOfAlmost4 · 08/06/2010 09:31

Love my 8kg Beko. Washes much better than my old Hotpoint, the direct oppposite to Scurryfunge .

I have seen some good reviews about Beko so a good choice IMHO!

Great. I was a bit impulsive with the "confirm order" button and I was dreading coming back here and seeing "Nooooo, don't order, they're crap blahblahblah"

LadyCad · 08/06/2010 11:23

Oops, sorry, subtle little namechange there.

Did you notice?

Jewelsandgems · 25/06/2010 19:13

Well I don't think they are crap but we had ours for a few months and the drainage pump went and the curcuit board. It was under warrenty so fixed for free but I would be a bit more if I was buying a washing machine again. (took 5 weeks to get it fixed end to end, so that was a lot of washing ferried to mum and dads!)
