Anyone have a good dishwasher? Mine has finally given up the ghost. It appears to have somesort of electrical fault, again, and we have lost our rag with it.

can't actually afford a new dishwasher, adn neither can my mum. The lovely lady has said she will buy one for us, so I want it to be at the cheap and of the market, but also I want it to kick ass!

Any Which? users who woul dhave a look for me? If there is a fab one for a bit more, then I guess we'd find the extra.

OUr old one is the entry level Indesit and to be honest, we loved having it but it wasn't all that great iyswim.
TIA

dont buy hotpoint.... the one we had in old job waqs just so bad...

didnt clean stuff and sometimes made the whole lot dirty... even on intensive (3 hour ) cycle things would only be clean some times...

we had engineers out LOADS.... there was nothing wrong with it....

in the end it was swapped for a john lewis own brand one which was fab and then the dishes were sparkly clean just as one would hope

JL have a good reputation, clean well and have a 3 year garentee, (but no idea on price)

They look lovely but are way over budget at £549

Cheers for the tips!

The AEG-Electrolux - Favorit F40010VI scores 71% in the Which report and is a best buy - highest scoring is 73%. According to Which it's £390.

I like Bosch (we've had two - previous house and this one) and rate them highly but they are ££££

I managed to get a second hand Bosch for 40 pounds!!! the owner was re-locating the following day and was let down the last minute.

She said it was 3 years old (but i reckon older) and i have had it 2 years but never had a problem with it once.. dishes come out clean everytime, never serviced it either. Plus when guests help me clean up after dinner they remark on the state i put my dishes it.. caked on food etc but like i said always come out clean.

For this reason i would say Bosch.. although not sure how much they cost.
