how do I clean baby poo off the mattress?

it's dried breastfed baby poo, i'd like to try and get it off if poss

I'd wipe it off with a wet wipe and if there's a stain left put the mattress in hot sunshine which tends to bleach bf poo stains.

I'd give it a really good scrub and then put the mattress out in the hot sunshine to dry out (when the weather returns to the fantastic hot sunny days we were having last week!).

Then I would definitely invest in a mattress protector. We have a cotton mattress topper covering our mattress which is just the job as the mattress is quite old (about 11 years) is sagging slightly but as far as cleanliness is concerned, looks like new!
