Stinky washing machine

Hi ladies

My washing machine has started stinking of old feet. I can't wash anything because that all comes out smelling like old feet. I've cleaned the powder tray and run a wash through with no clothes in but it's really persistent.

Any thoughts on what I can do to get rid of it?

Buy a cleaning/nti-limescale product. You can get cheapo ones from Tesco or similar although if you're feeling flush and can get there, Lakeland do better ones. You put the stuff (normal in granule form) into the drum and do a normal cycle.

If it's really bad, you might find you need to do it again in a week or two. I now do it regularly about once every six weeks.
