help! our potato plants have been growing brilliantly since good friday, have been earthed up, watered regularly and looking just brilliant. this morning i have been out in the garden and they all seem to have just flopped over, they are still green and otherwise healthy looking but i am a little worried in case this is terminal! any advice really welcome...

I'm no expert, but I'm guessing it could be thirst, or sunburn? I noticed our courgette plants drooping yesterday so went to water them, found that they were already damp, so concluded they didn't like the intense sun that they've been subjected to these past few days. I moved them to a shady spot (they are in grow bags) and they've recovered fairly well. If you can't move them perhaps try to shade them some other way?

Are you growing them ini the house?

Or should this be in "Gardening"?

....just wondered....can't actually help...
