how to stop doors slamming?

So now it's hot & sunny we have ALL the windows open - but as a result our internal doors no longer simply close they SLAM shut - everytime .

It winds me up immensely - it's like the sound of madness to me. Just add a bare lightbulb to the equation and you'd have to lock me up. And our poor neighbours too (most of our neighbours are one person per flat so they aren't doing as much door slamming or can keep doors open we can't so it's not such a big issue for them).

So aside from the usual door wedges (works poorly for one internal door only), and door stops (we have good metals ones though OH hides from me as he thinks DD will break her toes with them), does anyone have any clever low cost suggestions for stopping the doors slamming? I don't mind if they shut, it's just the dreadful noise that has to stop.

We do use one of the foam U shaped toddler door protectors on the main offender, but that involves having the door open a few inches which at certain times of the evening isn't a great idea. And it's this door that is kept shut, but is opened every time one of us leaves the living room, that is the main offender. Even when we try to carefully shut it, it will BANG if a window is open.
