Cat wee on a flokati rug :(

Any tips for getting it out?

How hot would you wash a flokati rug? We've previously washed it at 40 degrees... would 60 ruin it forever?

I don't know what a flokati rug is, but I have found that bicarbonate of soda gets rid of most pongs.
Sponge the offending area with soapy water and leave to dry, then,
Sprinkle on a whole tub onto the dry rug.Leave for a day or two and then vacuum.

ps what is a flokati rug?

Flotaki rugs are like sheepskins (sort of) but no sheep died in the maiking of it. (Yes, I have one...)

I've often washed mine at 40, but wouldn't risk 60.

You may need to shake rather than vacuum then, but in IME bicarb is MAGIC!!
